Chefs for Gemma is Coming Up on Nov 6th!

Chefs for Gemma, our annual benefit dinner, is coming up on Friday, November 6, 2020! We will hold a virtual, online event with an online auction opening Friday morning and an inspiring program that will stream Friday evening from 7-8 pm. To participate in the auction and view the streamed program, please click here.

Then, if public guidance allows, we will gather on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Green Valley Country Club in Lafayette Hill for an evening that will include a five-course meal, program about Gemma’s work with at-risk youth and families, and silent and live auctions.

This year, Chefs for Gemma highlights the talented Chef Chad Williams of Philadelphia’s celebrated restaurant, Friday Saturday Sunday. Since opening their Rittenhouse restaurant in 2016, Chad and his wife, Hanna, and the restaurant have garnered many accolades including: receiving a “Three Bell: Excellent” review from the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Craig Laban, being named “Best New American” restaurant by Philadelphia Magazine, and appearing multiple times atop Philadelphia Magazine’s “Top 50 Restaurants” list, most recently in the #2 spot. Chef Williams was named “Best Chef” by Philadelphia Magazine and a Philadelphia “Rising Star.”

On November 6th and in April too, we will honor Paul Bergsteinsson and William Andrews, past Chairs of our two legacy organizations’ – theVillage’s and Silver Springs – Martin Luther School’s – Boards of Trustees, for their dedication and leadership. We will also honor Morgan Lewis LLP for their generous pro bono support and guidance of theVillage over many years.

Sponsorships are available ranging from $750 to $10,000 and include recognition benefits for both Fall and Spring events, and tickets to the dinner in April. For more information about the events, tickets, or sponsoring, please visit the Chefs for Gemma website or contact Lynn Unipan, Chief Development Officer, at (610) 825-4440, x3206 or by email.
