What information is collected by us?
If you make a donation to Gemma Services through this website, you will be asked to provide personal information such as your name, postal address, e-mail address, phone number and payment information. This information is collected only with your knowledge and permission. Gemma Services stores demographic information and information related to the amount and purpose of your donation in our donor database and financial records. We do not retain credit card numbers. Processing of credit card information related to donations made online is handled through Network for Good (www.networkforgood.com).
How is this information used by us?
Once a donation is made to Gemma Services, we may use the personal information you provide upon donation to:
- contact you regarding Gemma Services and its fundraising efforts;
- obtain payment of the donation you have authorized;
- provide you with a receipt acknowledging your donation;
- comply with a court order or other legal process served on us necessitating the disclosure of such information when we have a good-faith belief that such disclosure is required by law; and
- undertake internal analysis.
